Ultimate Adventure Daycamp

This is our summer childcare program. The program starts the day after Joplin schools let out for summer break.  The day runs from 7:00am until 6:00pm Monday-Friday.

All staff are CPR/First Aid certified and have been through a background check. Most staff are education majors or teachers/teacher's aides.

It is a traveling day camp and campers are on the move at several locations throughout the day. Children are divided by age levels: Kindergarden and first grade, second through third grade, fourth and fifth grade. Children in sixth through eighth grade are CITs (Counselors in Training) and have a reduced rate and special activities.

There is a one time enrollment fee and participation is paid by the week, regardless of how many days are attended. Breakfast, lunch, snack and all activities are included in the price.  To enroll, parents must complete an enrollment packet.  We will accept State Aid for those who qualify.

Fees - Kindergarden through fifth grade

Members:  $87/week per child

Non-members:  $110/week per child

Daily drop in fee:  $25/day per child

CIT - Sixth through eighth grade

Members:  $55/week per child

Non-members:  $75/week per child

*Scholarships are available to those who qualify.

Missouri State Child Care assistance family weekly rate is $15/week per child.  The Joplin Family Y only processes state of Missouri childcare reimbursements (no out of state).

Our summer camp program is not under contract with Missouri's foster childcare agencies.  Foster care families are encouraged to apply for a day-camp scholarship.
